What happens when you get so many ideas bouncing around in your head that they begin to smash into each other like charged atoms? Peanut Butter Dynamite, of course. Welcome to our world filled with things so cute they’ll make you want to explode, too! A place where you can be the envy of all your friends, neighbors, and even those random people who come into your house and catch a glimpse of your cute things. Perhaps even a place where adorable and silly match our taste in furniture and fancy pets. A place where us “Big Kids” unite with the little ones and say, “Heck ya! This is pretty sweet!” What ever the case may be our rugs add a splash of flavor and a whole lot of fun to kids, pets and “Big Kids” alike.
Peanut Butter Dynamite stirred in our minds and finally came to fruition on warm and cozy holiday season back in 2009. Together with my mother’s mastery of crochet and our fondness for all things adorable, the rugs were born. Only having recently set up shop on Etsy, we didn’t know what to expect, but the response was overwhelming. We became a hit for children’s nurseries, pet nap stations and people like us world-wide. Within two months we found ourselves featured on Etsy’s front page and gift guides, bombarded by orders and special requests, and posted on various blogs. We soon realized that our rugs were unique and to say the least… exploding! To keep up with requests we needed to produce more rugs then we could handle and had to enlist some of our friends overseas. Still keeping true to our roots we ensure that our rugs remain 100% handmade with love!
